What will happen when you uninstall and re-install the app?

At Valider, we understand that sometimes you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app for various reasons. Whether it’s for troubleshooting or reconfiguring your store, we want to ensure that you’re aware of how this process affects your data and billing. This article will explain exactly what happens to your data, how billing works after reinstallation, and what steps you need to follow.

I. Uninstalling the App

When you uninstall the Valider (VL) app, your data is not deleted immediately. In accordance with our data retention policy, all app data is retained for up to 90 days. This means that if you decide to reinstall the app within this time frame, you will be able to pick up right where you left off, with all your existing data intact.

This 90-day period gives you ample time to reinstall the app and continue using it as before, without losing any of the configuration settings or customer validation data you had previously set up.

II. Reinstalling the App

If you choose to reinstall the app after uninstalling it, you will be prompted to follow a few simple steps to get back up and running:

  • Select a Pricing Plan: You will need to choose a pricing plan again upon reinstallation. While the app is free to install, you will need to approve the charge based on the validated orders processed.

  • Approve the Charge: To reactivate the app and regain access to its features, you will need to approve the charges based on your selected plan. Once the app is reactivated, you’ll have full access to all functionalities.

III. Billing After Reinstall

When reinstalling the app, it’s important to note that the only charge you incur is $0.04 per validated order. This pricing model is designed to be efficient and scalable, allowing you to pay only when an order is successfully validated. This means that you won’t pay any fees unless you are actively processing orders through the app.

The billing is simple and transparent:

  • You only pay for orders that are validated.

  • The more orders you validate, the more you’ll pay, but only based on the actual order volume.

This makes the pricing model flexible and suited to businesses of all sizes, as you are charged based on the orders you process, not a fixed monthly fee.
